Winter Update

Camp Update:

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

We have been very busy this fall and winter with retreats every month. It is exciting to see the Lord using our facilities even in the cold seasons. The camp will have a little bit of a break during February and March, which will allow us to begin preparations for summer weeks. There is always the usual jobs of picking up limbs, touching up paint, repairing fence lines, etc. Please be in prayer as we labor to complete several special projects also. The ground has already been broken for the new tabernacle. The Lord willing, the men will begin building in early Spring.

We have filled every possible week this summer with camps, and for that we are thankful. The Lord has truly done great things since the storms. There is so much more that needs to be done, and we are praying that the Lord will help us wait on his will and perfect timing, for “His way is perfect.”
Please pray that the Lord will provide the volunteer help needed for the summer. If you know of a godly young person or adult that would like to help, please let us know. We are specifically in need of young men to assist Brother Philip with maintaining the grounds and facilities.

Our family is doing well. We are expecting our first grandson in May and are very excited! Leah (our oldest daughter still at home) is beginning her third semester in college, and Jana and Joy are doing great in school. Please pray for Jana as her doctors are still trying to find a medicine combination that will control her seizures and for Ryan who will be having heart surgery in February.

Thank you so much who have held our family and the ministry up in prayer over the last few months and years. You will never know how much it has meant to us. God has done a mighty work here, and we are thankful to have been a small part of it. He is still working and providing everyday, and we are excited to see what He has in store for the new year.
